About Lokmanthan
The inauguration of the fourth edition of Lokmanthan will soon be performed by the Honourable President of India. The first Lokmanthan took place in Bhopal in 2016. Since Lokmanthan is a biennial event, the second edition was held in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, in 2018; the third edition in Guwahati in 2022; and now we have gathered here for the successful organisation of the fourth edition. Lokmanthan is a colloquium for “Nation First” thinkers and practitioners. It is a dialogue platform, or rather a symposium, for thinkers and practitioners who prioritize the nation. It is a humble attempt to bring together people from all walks of life to discuss India’s fundamental unity.
When we say “Lok” in Lokmanthan, it does not refer to a specific community or geographical area. “Lok” here means the people of India-“We the People of India.” In another sense, “Lok” represents purity and originality, free from adulteration in a materialistic sense. The deliberation on such “Lok” will take place over the next three days.
Inauguration – President Droupadi Murmu
Keeping in mind the time constraints, I am fulfilling my duty without going into further details about Lokmanthan. The most significant aspect of this Lokmanthan is that it is being inaugurated by the Honourable President of India, respected Droupadi Murmu ji. Madam, you are the soul of Indian democracy and the pride of our republic. You are the protector of the nation’s ethos and cultural diversity. We wholeheartedly welcome you for honouring our request to inaugurate this event.
Grand Welcome to the Honourable Guests
The Honourable Governor of Telangana has always been our guide. He has continuously discussed and advised on the progress of Lokmanthan. As such, I wholeheartedly welcome the Honourable Governor. The respected Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy ji, is not only the Chairman of the Welcome Committee for the successful organisation of Lokmanthan but has also been working with us dedicatedly for the past three months. I warmly welcome him.
Guidance from Dr.Mohan Rao Bhagwat Ji
The Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Mohan Rao Bhagwat ji, will be present throughout Lokmanthan. He has expressed his intention to participate in all sessions, and we will also receive guidance from him during the concluding session. I extend a hearty welcome to him on behalf of the Lokmanthan Committee.
Gracious Presence
As a representative of the Telangana State Government, which symbolizes the power and beauty of cultural unity, the Minister of Women and Child Welfare, Smt. Seethakka garu, is present here. The assistance we have received from various departments of the Telangana government has been instrumental in the successful organisation of this event. Guiding Spirit
The guiding spirit of Pragna Bharati and Chairman of the Welcome Committee, Dr. Tripuraneni Hanuman Chowdary garu, is also present with us. I warmly welcome him as well. Additionally, I extend a heartfelt welcome to all the respected speakers, distinguished guests and participants of Lokmanthan, including the thousands of artists present here. Due to space constraints, not everyone could be accommodated in this hall, but I extend my heartfelt welcome and gratitude to all of them.
